Berlin Museumsinsel (UNESCO) with 5 outstanding museums incl. the high calibre Pergamon museum. Brandenburg Gate and Parliament Building with the glass dome, TV Tower and Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, Egyptian Museum, Berlin Wall Memorial, Jewish Museum, Memorial to Murdered Jews in Europe, Berlin Cathedral Church, Berlin Zoo Tiergarten, Dahlem Botanical Garden, DDR Museum, Mauerpark Fleemarket, Nikolai Quarter with Spandau citadel. Potsdam Sanssouci Palace (UNESCO). Hamburg Port and Speicherstadt (UNESCO) with the world's largest model railway in Miniature Wonderland, Elbe Philharmonic Hall, Alster Lakes, City Hall, Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Reeperbahn Entertainment District, skinny and sandy island of Sylt with its famous nude beacg, a day trip to Helgoland island with its unique history. Munich: Attend Oktoberfest on the Theresienwiese, Alte Pinakothek, Christkindlmarket, Marienplatz with the Old Town Hall, Hofbräuhaus, Frauenkirche. Neuschwanstein Castle, Wies Pilgrimage Church (UNESCO), a real gem. Opera House in Bayreuth, just finished the renovation (UNESCO) and has a great Music Festival. Town of Bamberg (UNESCO),Magnificient Würzburg Residence (UNESCO), Aachen Dome (UNESCO) and Cologne Cathedral's Quarter (UNESCO). The most touristy German town, but still very cute Rotheburg ob der Tauber, Maulbronn Monastery (UNESCO), An excursion to Germany's highest peak (2962m) called Zugspitze. Stuttgart Mercedes-Benz Museum. Bremen Town Hall and Roland (UNESCO) plus sculpture of town musicians. Quedlinburg (UNESCO) with original town feeling and castle district. Fagus Factory in Alfeld (UNESCO), all about the history of shoe last production and Gropius architecture. Historic Center of Stralsund and Wismar (UNESCO), Hildesheim (UNESCO) was badly damaged during the second War, but seriously repaired, it has a great Old Town with Market Place, Ratshaus, St.Mary's Cathedral, St. Michael's Church and tons of half-timbered houses. Goslar (UNESCO) is another very pretty town, with the Rammelsberg minining complex nearby, also UNESCO. Speyer Cathedral (UNESCO), Völklingen Ironworks (UNESCO) is an adventure and covers more than 7km on walkways through an industrial giant that once produced raw iron and steel beams. Lake Constance and the Flower Island of Mainau. Düsseldorf Hafen with modern architecture. Danevirke Fortresses and museum near the Danish border UNESCO. Schwerin castle.
