Highlights:

Windhoek Alten Feste with the National Museum, Tintenpalast or Parliament building, Independance Musuem, Transnamib Museum for railway enthusiasts, Heldenacker or Heroes' Acre where the leaders of SWAPO were laid to rest, most prominently Sam Nujoma, Christ Church, Namib-Naukluft National Park UNESCO and Sossusvlei with the highest Dunes in the world, go up Dune 45 (170 meters), Deadvlei with ancient dead trees in the desert of Sossusvlei, Solitaire makes a good stopover, famous for the apple cake, Vogelfederberg, Walvis Bay kitesurfing and sand boarding, but also dolphin&seal cruises to offshore islands. Flamingo colony. Swakopmund great historical museum, for instance how it looked like visiting a dentist during the german colonial times! The most German looking town in the country, Lighthouse, old railway station. Cape Cross with thousands of Cape fur seals, Portuguese cross 1486. Twyfelfontein UNESCO with amazing petroglyphs, Organ Pipes and Burnt mountain, Visit of Himba villages and watch the dances, Etosha National Park by far the best wildlife park in Namibia, Caprivi Strip, with relaxing lodges on the Zambezi river and a unique flora and fauna.
