Liubljana is full of sculptures, art work and museums, National Museum of Slovenia,National Gallery, the castle, picturesque lake of Bled with the small island. Skocjan Caves UNESCO (the highest hall of caves in all of Europe), Brezje Basilica of the Virgin Mary, Ptuj Old town, Ptujska Gora Basilica, Celje castle, Vršic Mountain Pass with great scenery, Brezice castle, Idrija Mercury town UNESCO, Kobarid Museum. Franja Partisan hospital. Bohinj Lake with Mt. Vogel, good for skiing in winter time.Piran on the Adriatic Sea with winding cobbled streets, climb up to St. George church for great vistas. Lasko and its thermal baths. Spectacular Postonja caves with the "Concert" and "Spaghetti" Halls, you go inside by underground train. Predjama castle, over 700 years old. Triglav National Park and Vintgar Klam river landscape. Maribor is the second largest city in Slovenia, a place for wine lovers.
